True.
And, Larry, the one asking the question, recognizes the fact that software
media will only be available in DDS format and that is why he is retaining
his dds tape drive.
And, if he is deciding to acquire a DLT4000 (which is available in
single-ended SCSI format), it would behoove him to create his SLT's on the
DLT - a media more reliable than dds - if he can.
