Do you have a PSEUDO device configured at 56/52.5? What is the state as
reported by DSTAT ALL? Did you use VOLUTIL to assign it to a volume set?

Subject: Re: Ldev 2 won't avr at boot

Just install an HP disk, ST39216N, and set it up as ldev 2. Works find
except it won't AVR at bootup.

It is visable durring the ipl process, I can do a SEARCH and it is listed
with ldev 1 and the tape drive.

Its an HP 9gb disk configured with ID=ST39216N, SCSI ID is set to 5 and the
path is 56/52.5.0. Am booting with mpeix/7.0 from install tape thru fos and
subsys/prod tapes. I can mount it with the utilities AVRSCIS.INSTALL.SYS
"mount 2" and then it works fine until a re-boot.

Any ideas?
