An update on the mercury spill: Clean up of the northeast entrance
to Grote Hall and one lab on the bottom floor of the Engineering,
Mathematics, and Computer Science building was completed over the
weekend, and Hamilton County Health Department officials assure the
campus that the airborne mercury levels are well within the safe
range.

The Health Department will be conducting interviews with those
persons who spent extended periods of time in Grote Hall, meaning a
significant part of every day.

More information will be available after those interviews are
completed and we will share it with the campus as soon as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns about the spill, contact Jim
Pulliam at 5209.
