An extraordinary summer opportunity available only to UTC students who will not
graduate before December, 2004: 6 semester hours of credit for
travelling to India
to take a course there with two UTC professors. 75% of the costs will
be covered
by a special fellowship provided by Lupton funds. 5 weeks in India, 1
week of orientation
at UTC, beginning in early June. Study the religions of India in the
ancient southern
Hindu city of Madurai. Each student will do a communications project
focusing on
issues of religion, gender, media, and society. Applications and
