That's definitely a new one!
I haven't had to look at store code in a lot of years (which is probably a good thing
considering what I do) but a quick look indicates that the error is generated when
a per-device write buffer is exhausted. My take on the likely reason for that is that
the device may not have been completing I/O's or probably not completing them as
quickly as it should have to keep the buffer replenished.
Maybe the heads on the drive need cleaning?
