Tracy,
The error you're getting is "101" which
DUPLICATE TEMPORARY FILE NAME (FSERR 101)
Perhaps you need to specify a different file equation for the 2nd open
to indicate ",OLDTEMP" so that when it opens it opens the same file
(it's probably defaulting to ",NEW" in both so the 2nd CLOSE fails.
