I am trying to set up a method on a client's machine where jobstreams will
send an email to me when certain error conditions happen, but I am having
problems getting the e-mails from my client's HP3000 to me.
All e-mail to northtech.com is routed through an outside anti-spam service.
The service filters out (most of) the spam, and sends the remaining e-mail
on to my mail server. For some reason, e-mail sent from my client's HP3000
is bounced by my anti-spam service's servers with a data format error. *
What I would like to do is configure sendmail to send e-mail bound for
northtech.com directly to my mail server, rather than to my anti-spam
service's servers. I have looked at Mark B.'s Powerpoint presentation on
sendmail on Jazz, and it looks like I can user mailertable for this, but it
is not clear to me exactly how to use it. Is mailertable the right thing to
use? If so, can someone clarify how to set it up? If not, is there another
way to do it?
My client is running MPE 7.5, sendmail 8.12.1
