Thanks for all the tips - I'll have a lok for that CSEQ thing.

I'm not using the tempnam type functions.  I'm putting any temporary
domain files in a directory specific to the JOB and a server process
will clear out the directory if the job goes away for any reason.

Seems that I can't take existing applications and port them as is on
UNIX without changing the syntax of the source which I wanted to avoid.
Can't be hard to write a tool to stick those defaults in though.
