GREAT NEWS!  Continuing Education is once again offering the "Certified
Professional Secretary (CPS) Review Course" beginning August 28,
2003.  This nine week course is an in-depth review for the Certified
Professional Secretary (CPS) examination.  The CPS rating is the
achievement of the internationally recognized standard of proficiency in
the secretarial and administrative support professions.  In today's
workplace, having the CPS credentials can be assurance of employability,
pay increases (9% for UTC employees), and opportunity for advancement.  The
CPS examination covers three main subject areas including Finance &
Business Law, Office Systems & Administration, and Management.  UTC is an
authorized testing center for the CPS examination which is given the first
Saturday in May and November.

When:  TH -- August 28 - October 23, 2003 (1:00-4:30 p.m.)
Cost:     $400 (UTC staff will receive a 10% discount!)

*Books should be purchased prior to the first class.
