Well, of course, silly. But if the information is not released then you are
bound for three years to keep quiet - assuming of course you can even
remember where and when you heard something.

We are all geeks to some degree and delight in discussing technology and
speculating on possible future developments. Do you really want (or need) to
have the self-censure machine running in your head all the time trying to
determine if you can or cannot say something?

I suspect all HPQ really wants is to avoid having certain things show up in
the press a week or month after HPWorld. Three months after HPWorld, few if
any journalists or tech readers will care what was said - we will have moved
on to speculate on other things.

Get real HPQ.

I still think HPQ is unreasonably paranoid - and overly interested in
managing the flow of information.

I notice there are precious few management roundtables listed in the public
sessions. Will we have a repeat of last year where the press was excluded
from the management roundtables - only this year the reason will be because
an NDA is required - just in case some customer has the temerity to complain
about something? Oops, I guess nobody can answer that since even the NDA
session names are secret!

Am I the only one who thinks this is shear lunacy?
