A-Class Configuration Question

I have a customer with an A-class

A500-100-14

which just happens to be one of the crappiest computers that HP has ever made,
but that's not the point.

The current configuation has 2 A5150A Dual-port, Ultra2 LVD/SE SCSI
controllers.

According to the e3000 configuration guide, these controllers are not supported
on the A-Class.   Is this true?  Does anyone have this configuration on a
support contract?
