Hi JM,

Thanks! My biggest problem is that Alex now wants to go diving as well (I'm
sure Finding Nemo didn't help!), and I'll have to find a way to stall him
for 8 years.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kids' enthusiasm to things of the sea can sometimes be really refreshing. Did four dives off Chumphon (450 km south of BKK) recently. On my second trip, I took Susanne and my four cheese eating surenderring weasels on the (big) boat. I, of course, spent my SI together with the Kids snorkeling. 5 years old Joseph (details for the other listmembers) couldn't wear a mask but went along with goggles. The session went as follows. Every 10 seconds, he would take his head out of the water and say: "wow cool!; Wow did you see the red one? Wow (pointing a a school of thousands of fishes) that's a lot more than fifteen right dad? etc.".
Guess (hope?) we have a future diver there.

My four dives were rather nice but not really worth writing home about except for one thing. Towards the end of the fourth dive, the DM and I found ourselves at the center of a ring of thousands of fishes (couldn't indentify them). The fishes were just happy to placidly swim in a circle with us at the center. This continued for some 10 minutes until it was time to get out. It was quite an eerie experience. I was just wondering if this already happened to other listmembers.
