Tim Atwood inquired about a GUI interface for HP3000 Cobol applications...

Several months ago, many of us received a demo CD from a company in the UK named Millware. This CD contained a demo of a product that would take VPlus applications and turn the interface into a GUI one without requiring any rewrite of the app. I don't recall the name of the product, but it appeared to do exactly what you want. It seems that Millware is out of the business and has sold their products to Sreenjet http://www.screenjet.com/. It might be worthwhile to contact them and find out whether the product is still available.

Thanks to all who replied. Gives me some ideas. But maybe if I explained
more I can get some more focussed answers.

What I am looking for is an "GUI" screen writer for applications written in
COBOL. Applications to run on the HP3000. Sort of a VPlus replacement. (For
an explanation of why we would want to replace some the perfectly good
VPlus screens we already have read on).
