I'm trying to clean up my PC a bit, and delete old Microsoft Word documents
that are no longer relevant. When I delete a document within Word, the .DOC
file goes away but the file name remains in the list of documents. Of course
I can't open it, because it doesn't exist, but it would be really nice if the
file
name would go away too. Everyone I've asked just looks blank, because
they apparently never thought of deleting anything. There must be a file
somewhere that contains this list of file names, but I haven't found it.
Can anyone tell me how to delete the file name?
I don't do Windows, I do MPE!
