 Positives ???

a) Indians do follow all the Software Engineering Steps
b) Companies are frequently audited to see that the systems can be
maintained. This does not apply only to HP3000....
c) Indian IT worker does not go against the boss ( Even though the
boss is wrong )
d) Indian IT workers love to be Slaves!!!!

Negatives ???

a)How many of those who outsourced the work to India know that most of
the resumes that you receive are forged ? Most of them don't even have
the right experience...
b) Billing the US Client when IT Worker is on leave in India.. And the
US Customer does not even know that !!! Lies and Damn Lies.. Its the
sad truth that I don't like despite being an Indian...
c)Worst is that nowadays 2 month Notice period seems to be common..
and poor slave is not relieved if he finds a better opportunity...

I strongly feel that there should be a close scrutinization on
Managers, their ethics and heavy fines to the Indian IT Industry if
such malpractices happen..

As I signoff - I do agree with the original poster that IT migration
to India is a sad reality.. I really wish Carly would not have that
dream of moving out of HP3000!!!!!! So many of my US counterparts
whom I worked with are no longer there ...... and for no reason ? What
did they do wrong ??

Can someone give Wisdom lessons to Carly ? She is growing old but "You
become wise as you grow old" does not apply to her...
