Looking for some direction here.  I seem to remember being told at a recent
Solutions Symposium that I could update directly from 6.0 to 7.5 PP1,
without having to update to 6.5 first.  (All HP-IB equipment has been
removed).

I checked with the RC and was told that the "best way" is to update to 6.5
first.

Is that absolutely necessary?

What are the negative implications of going directly from 6.0 to 7.5?
