Hello gentle Listers,

We have a problem on a 'remote 3000' (MPE/iX 6.5) that I haven't been
able to solve so far.

The 4Si is equipped with a JD-card and print is routed from the 3000
via NPCONFIG:

<snip>

nnnn   (Network_Address = {Here is a valid ip-address}
        Setup_file = NULL.HPENV.SYS
        Pjl_Supported = FALSE
        Jam_Recovery =  FALSE)
#       {Here is a comment re. the placement of the printer}

<snip>

Ordering prints thru e.g. a batchjob documents the file-equation in
$STDLIST:

:file soandso;dev=nnnn,7,1

- Still all lists are printed twice...

Please note: This goes ONLY for e3000 prints - not for PC-prints.
Printing from e.g. MS Word acts normally: One copy ordered, one copy
printed.

Note, too, that lots of other LaserJets are printing very well thru the
same NPCONFIG.

A defective printer or a defective JD-card would seem probable - but
then the PC print should print twice as well.

I haven't found any entries in the system logfiles

Any good ideas are much appreciated!

Thank you.

With kind regards,

Hans
