Had a great time last weekend diving round Penzanze, Cornwall. Gloroiusly
warm waters for the time of year as well: 12-13 DegC.

Saturday did a fairly broken up wreck (Alice Marie), max 24.4m total 49
mins. Lots of Congers, some completely out in the open - face-on they look
as if they have the head of a python....but much bigger (& I hate snakes!).

Followed by a sceneic dive max 22.6m 71 mins (which was logged as 'Drift
Round The Rock') with loads of great kelp to swim through. Also saw a
Plaice, which could well have ended up as my supper until I realised my
knife has a blunt end :-(

Sunday dived the SS Hellopes (spelt various ways), 36.3m max 36 mins which
has the screw & rudder still intact making a great swim through. Sharks*
lazing around all over the place, you could pick them up & they still
stayed in an 'S' shape !!. Lots of other iron-work then a pair of massive
boilers, one with a huge Conger inside.

Didn't bother with the second dive Sun 'cos the weather had turned a bit
sour & we were all getting cold. I was also suffering from my first ever
bout of sea-sickness & feeding the fish not only my breakfast but a goodly
portion of green bile as well :-( Some think it may
possibly be related to the amount of drink I had on the Saturday :-)
Personnally I think that is a very hurtful suggestion!

All dives were deco & dived as threes (effectively as two pairs).

Was using my new Apeks ATX100 & I love it !!!!

Cheers........
