I THINK there's a date problem in 2027, though I can't remember if it's the
roll over from 2026 to '27, or from '27 to '28.

But honestly, that could probably be wired up with a patch from one of our
resident geeks.

You're on your own as far as batteries.  Much like light bulbs, that's a
hardware problem.

For an argument, if HP3000 (lets say Series 918) does not fail mechanically
for next 25 years, will there be any obsticles that can go wrong with the
machine that will force us to stop using the machine? (no, I don't care

technology changes)
IE: Batteries or Date problems
