Someone using a package that does the same thing signed up on one of the
e-mail lists I monitor a couple months ago. He was almost lynched, as every
message sent to the list by any member of the list, generated a <please
click here to let your email through> email to the sender of the message.
Supposedly the users have the option (when setting it up) of "whitelisting"
known addresses; but as many distribution lists work differently (coming
from different addresses) this will likely be a major problem if rolled out
to large ISPs... I can just imagine the fun if a hundred or so folks on
HP3000-L suddenly implemented that "feature". :-O
