Dr. John Churchill, executive secretary of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, will
present "The Liberal Arts in a Time of Crisis," on Monday, May 19 at 4:30
p.m. in
129 Grote Hall, on the UTC campus. This event is sponsored by the
Chattanooga Phi Beta Kappa Association; it is open to the public, and there
is no admission charge.
With headquarters in Washington, DC, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest
and most prestigious academic honor society. It was founded in
Williamsburg, Virginia in 1776.
