Tried it. didn't work. I used the same configuration as one that works. This device is a copier not a printer.

Looks like you need
pjl_supported = FALSE
and/or
snmp_enabled = FALSE
in that printer definition in npconfig. (Stop/restart the spooler to make
the new config take effect)

Subject: [HP3000-L] IOCONFIG, NPCONFIG
It's been a while.
i added a printer in NPCONFIG. I was able to pint.net the printer befor I
started.
960 (network_address = 198.47.100.52
BANNER_TRAILER = FALSE
BANNER_HEADER = FALSE
program_file = OUTSPTJ.PUB.SYS
setup_file = PORTRT.HPENV.SYS)
I added it in IOCONFIG
ioconfig:ld 960
LDEV: 960 DEVNAME: 00000960 OUTDEV: 0 MODE:
OS
ID: HPTCPJD RSIZE: 66 DEVTYPE: PP
PATH: NONE MPETYPE: 32 MPESUBTYPE: 0
CLASS: NETLP
I make sure it is open and started
UB.SYS:spooler 960;start;openq
Device 00000960 is already spooled. (CIWARN 4605)
PUB.SYS:showdev 960
LDEV AVAIL OWNERSHIP VOLID DEN ASSOCIATION
960 SPOOLED SPOOLER OUT
When I print to it I see
:spooler 960;show
LDEV DEV SPSTATE QSTATE OWNERSHIP SPOOLID JOB STEP
960 00000960 ACTIVE OPENED OUT SPOOLER #O1107482 CONNECTING
No printing?
What did I miss
Thanks
Kent Wallace
