Hello all, I ran the checkslt on the 7.5 slt and it failed. It fail on a
DDS2 drive on two different systems but passed when a DDS3 drive was used.
The 7.5 slt is on a 120 meter DDS2 tape. HP, at present, is looking into
this. Has anyone experienced this?

Andreas Schmidt writes

DDS-2 supports only 60m and 90m tapes!

To answer Andreas first, DDS-2 supports up to 120m tapes. DDS-3 up to 125m
tapes. to answer Al, what makes you think you don't have a bad DDS-2 drive.
When we had them, we went through them like water, replacing every couple
months. They are bad news from the word go.
