I did this moring what I should have done last night. Factor
out the problem to it's smallist pieces.
I created a new program with only 3 controls. A textbox and 2
buttons...
There are also 2 picboxes for output at the bottom which
displays the len and maxlength of text1..
Same thing happens. After clicking a button you can enter more
text then maxlength should allow. It must be a VB bug, unless
there is something with text alignment that I don't know about..
I'll try to attach this new prog(0.1 MB). If it doesn't go
through and you want to see it mail me offlist..
