I came across this word file someone on the list kindly sent me back in
1999 - for typical Hayes modem settings for the hp3000.

I had lost this on my office pc but thanks to a slightly paranoid attitudes
about redundancy found it on my home pc despite a disk crash at the office 3
years ago..

I would gladly credit the original author except I can't find his post in
the archives - other than to say someone kindly sent it to me back in 1999
and I think it would be useful to others. It gives both DTC profile settings
and Hayes settings.

Please reply to [log in to unmask] and I'll be glad to send you a copy...

Along these lines can I ask my allotted dumb question for the month? Can I
use the HP modem cable to set this up to a terminal and configure or do I
need different pin settings?

Thanks...

Bill Brandt
