Like American music? Come to Tuesday night's concert. Lake View Ft. Oglethorpe High School Concert Band will be opening with two military marches and Claude T. Smith's american portrait of "Shenandoah". I will be guest conducting "A Very American Overture" with the LFO ensemble as well. The UTC Symphonic band will be playing Aaron Copland's "The Promise of Living" and Tony D'Andrea will be conducting "Rhapsody in Blue" featuring our wonderful new pianist, Dr. Sin-Hsing Tsai. Folks, this is not your normal "band" event. This is music that will get your feet and your heart moving. Come on or miss out. LFO opens the concert at 7:00 PM in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall.
