I just deleted (unread) all 800 messages that had built up in my 3000-L
folder over the last week or so.

It has finally gotten to the point that there's negative value to me in
trying to follow the useful (or even interesting) threads on 3000-L.

Therefore I am unsubscribing from the list today, and will not be following
further discussions.

I may check the newsgroup occasionally, and if the S/N ration improves in
the future I may re-subscribe at that point.
