"Chickens would rather Cross the Road, than Fly." said a top-level report
detailing why the Airline Industry will loose billions this year. It is
assumed that by "Chickens" the report was actually refering to air-travelers
who are afraid of another terrorist strike. But then again, It is uncertain
however, as the report then goes on to say, "Chicken is best served using
the Colonel's Secret Blend of twelve herbs and Spices and gently deep-fried
to a golden brown locking away the tender juices." We can only assume that
"The Colonel" must refer to some type code-word for a terrorist leader,
which as you can clearly see would put a definite evil twist on the
remainder of that quote. It is felt that the report must utilize code words
such as these to cloud the sensitivity of the situation and to make it
easier to carry out high-level discussions on these problems in a way that
will ensure that the public will never fully understand what is going on
with the Airline Industy. Clearly, we are all better off not
understanding....

The peanut crop harvest in Southwest Oklahoma is expected to be lighter than
normal this year, the International Airline Group says this could cost the
airline industry several billion dollars.
