I believe the latest "supported" MPE firmware patch for the 28696A FWSCSI
card resides in the file ISFW3728.PUB.SYS, which is available via patch
FMSLXT5A (for MPE/iX 6.5). It will have a different patch id for a
different MPE/iX version.
Installing this patch requires a maintenance license code.
It is installed via SYSDIAG on MPE/iX versions 6.0 and prior.
It is installed via CSTM on MPE/iX versions 6.5 and later.
Various combinations of disk drives and MPE/iX versions MAY necessitate
this firmware upgrade - depending upon what the existing firmware revision is.
