Although I know nothing about and have never seen either Gestetner or Dell
printers, Dell has just begun offering a PostScript & PCL-compatible, laser
printer for $289, with a duty cycle of 15,000 copies a month. It may well be
worth looking at. It only has USB and parallel connectors on it, so you'd
have to use a JetDirect print server with it, but if it works at all, it
seems like a dealer deal.
