I've known Fred and Eugene both for over 20 years -- and I just about split
the difference in their ages. However, if I were to vote blindly, without
being given the chance to hear either one of their opinions beforehand, I'd
vote with Fred every time. Fred's instincts are generally a lot better honed
than Eugene's. Eugene simply has a better pulpit for the moment, but that
shouldn't be given too much weight.
