I have read alot of postings in reguards to Hp pavilion users wanting
to run high end video cards such as Geforce4s. I ran a geforce4 in my
Pavilion 7950 for about 4 months with no problems. However problems
were just around the corner, with the wimpy 149 watt power supply,
excessive heat build up in the crampy case.

I transferred everything from the crampy, Hp micro ATX case to nice
roomy Antec mid tower with a 300 watt supply. The mainboard will fit
nicely in the ATX case with no problems. The mainboard is a standard
ASUS board so I found no problems hooking up the new supply to the
board everything matched great.

The end result the system is running much cooler. The proccesor and
Geforce4 are loving the new 300 watt supply. So basically I just
extended the life and performance for about 69 bucks. Amother plus is
easy upgrading in the future.

So if you have an Hp pavilion and want to extends its life and run big
graphics cards it can be done.

WARNING: IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY TO TRANSFER THE SYSTEM TO ANOTHER
CASE.
YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED IN BUILDING
COMPUTERS.
DONT ATTEMPT THIS TRANSFER UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED IN BUILDING
COMPUTERS.

NOTICE: I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES TO YOUR SYSTEM. BE
CERTAIN YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!!!!!!
