Tom Ridge read the note I just posted and wrote me back to suggest a possible
workaround to the problem of having two "OT" tags. As a temporary solution,
he suggested that everyone on the list buy and keep a roll of duct tape and
keep it on their desks. If you wind up accidentally reading material you
don't want to see, please take a strip of the duct tape and place it on your
screen, covering up that part of the offensive text.
He thinks that this is a workable solution, and so long as we don't panic, we
can get through this crisis.
