Normally I use a win2k computer at work and I use
WRQ-Reflections to log in to the HP which works great.
At PCs which have don't have WRQ, but have telnet I can still
log in and do text based work, I just can't open programs which
have a "visual" interface. Otherwise I get a bunch of
junk(hyrogliphics (Sp.)) output to the screen....
Anyways,
For fun I installed linux on a old computer that was sitting in
the corner collecting dust for the last year or so. It has
telnet on it and works just like telnet for windows.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any WRQ like program for
linux that would allow me to run visual aps. in the telnet
window, or on a seperate application? Or what the protocall is
called I'm looking for? Is it NS/VT or is that just a WRQ word?
We have a terminal connected to the HP via direct connection
that serves as our console. I know you can run aps on that I
just don't know if anyone has made an emulator for it on linux
yet?
Any info would be much apprciated,

Ps. When I say visual I don't mean mouse and grpahics, I mean
like MACS if anyone has heard of it. When you type macs in to
our console it opens a form that I can type information in to
then press F1 to send the info.....
