Due to unexpected delays in the way name changes propagate
across the Internet, many of you have not been able to get
UTC email if you are off campus.
You can use Netmail in http://OneNet.utc.edu/ to get to your
email from on or off campus.
Now, yu can use mail.utc.edu instead of pop.utc.edu
or imap.utc.edu when OFF CAMPUS, when configuring pop or
imap email services from your home. You will continue to
use the same outgoing smtp server as you do now OFF CAMPUS,
so do not change it, only change the POP or IMAP server to
mail.utc.edu if you are OFF CAMPUS.
On campus, please continue to use pop.utc.edu or imap.utc.edu.
There is no change in using smtp.utc.edu.
We have made some adjustments to the new Netmail email services
and they are expected to perform better today than yesterday.
We apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused.
Thanks,
Richard
