What's unbelievable to me is his summary:
> Great job HP.

Why the pessimism?

From: http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/architecture/pa_risc/index.html

We see:

hp-ux servers » quick comparison chart
» rp2400 series (1-2 CPUs)
» rp2405
» rp5400 series (1-4 CPUs)
» rp5405
» rp7400 (1-8 CPUs)
» rp7405
» rp7410 (2-8 CPUs)
» rp8400 (2-16 CPUs)
» superdome (1-16, 1-32, or 8-64 CPUs)

and:

mpe/ix servers
» a-class (1-2 CPUs) ... crippled from 440 to less than advertised 110 MHz
» n-class (1-4 CPUs) ... (some crippled, IIRC)

There's no way you can honestly say "great job HP".

At best, we see a shadow of what things might have been like,
without some now-absent HP Marketing.

:(
