Greetings,

I am appealing to the wise ones among us concerning the removal of the
friendly "*** RECOVERY FROM POWERFAIL" messages that appear on the
HPe3000. I was greeted with two of those events this morning when our
building took a momentary power hit that made the lights flicker for about
a tenth of a second or so each time. Even though my HPe3000 KS959/300 is
powered by a dual online UPS system with both battery and diesel generator
backup the computer still detects these momentary power hits. Naturally,
out of the one hundred or so computer systems running in the equipment
room the HPe3000 is the only one to post such a message.

Well, this anomalous event has caught the attention of my CIO now, and I
won't be able to rest until I can find some way to stop these messages.
Please, oh wise ones, I need your help.

Thanks in advance,

John Hornberger
