UTC Softball Hosts Frost Classic This Weekend

The 2003 Frost Classic, Chattanooga's softball tournament which annually
features some of the top teams, will be held Friday through Sunday at Frost
Stadium. This year's event will include the red-hot Lady Mocs -- winners of
seven of their last nine games -- along with Western Kentucky, Akron,
Tennessee Tech, Samford, Marshall and Tennessee State.

Action starts Friday at 10 a.m. at both Frost Stadium and nearby Hargraves
Field. The 21-game schedule will play seven games Friday, eight games
Saturday and six games Sunday.

Rain hampered last week's Sonic Challenge, but it appears Mother Nature
will be much kinder this weekend. Chattanooga's Friday action will be at
4:45 p.m. against Tennessee State and at 7 p.m. vs. Marshall.
