Call teh communications office.
It might take more than one call, but they can fix it.
I had this problem last year with an area code in Canada,
not that the fact that it was Canada had anything to do with it,
the Communications office kept telling me it did.
The Communications office has a computer that is programmed
with all the legitimate area codes. When a new area code is added,
apparently the computer has to be manually updated.
