I must admit that this is a use I had not previously considered.  Perhaps
they have some merit after all.  My Mares fins, the ones I had in Coz, are
way to light to be an effective wacking device.  My newer, Quatro Power fins
would work better.  They're longer, giving me more leverage and distance.
Distance is sometimes important in wacking.  Neither, however, would be much
good for wacking people underwater, something I suspect the Jet Fins would
be much better for.  8^)

You're a perfect example of why I say the Jet Fins must be better than I
think they are.  I've known you to be foolish (pleasantly so), but never to
be a fool.  If you like Jet Fins, they must have some redeeming
characteristics (other than eliminating the need for ankle weights).  I just
havn't found those characteristics.
