Fred - I think anyone who can pass your test with near 100% is a child of
the 50s - or older. I remember PF Flyers - "with the magic wedge". I always
wore Keds, though.

Denys - you are right - the Connie had to be one of the most beautiful
transports made. Sleek and graceful and if I am not mistaken TWA was the
biggest user. I think Lufthansa had a few, too. If I am not mistaken it was
designed by that aeronautical genius Kelly Johnson - of Lockheed Skunk Works
fame. He also designed the P38, the U2, F104 and the SR-71.

Christian - I remember most of your stuff - I came into the HP world when
the 1600 bpi tape drive was the "new thing" and phasing out the 800...
