Man Facing Southeast / Hombre mirando al sudeste is an Argentinean film
by Eliseo Subiela. It came out in 1987 and there have been allegations
that the recent K-PAX borrowed heavily from it.

Reel.com says: "Multi-layered, widely appealing Argentinean drama about
mental patient claiming to be extraterrestrial. With its
thought-provoking storyline, intriguing performances, this meditative
cult classic pleases sci-fi, drama buffs, those seeking existential
fare."

The film is an hour and 45 minutes long, is in Spanish with English
subtitles and has a rating of R.
