There is a new virus that has been going around on the UTC campus. Many of
you have been getting virus warnings and having problems with e-mail
downloading from the server to Eudora. Please contact the help desk at 4000
if you are experiencing problems getting your e-mail.

It is important to make sure that your virus definitions are up to date. To
check virus definitions open Norton Antivirus (double click on the gold
shield in the lower right hand of the monitor) and you will see a section on
the right side of the NAV window that says Virus Definition File. The date
or version should be 1/22/03 or later. If your definition date is earlier
than 1/22/03 please contact the help desk.

Remember do not open attachments from people you don't know. Always delete
suspicious e-mail messages.
