MAYOR'S FORUM

Chattanooga held the first Mayor's Town Hall Forum a year ago
featuring our technology partner NASA- Mar shall Space Flight Center,
with approximately 500 persons attending from throughout the region.
Six months later, several hundred others attended a workshop hosted
by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) that focused on how
companies could take advantage of the millions of dollars in
contracts the y award every year.

As a result, various companies in the Chattanooga area secured
millions of dollars in contracts from Oak Ridge this past year,
representing a significant increase from previous years. These
companies represented a wide range of products and services from
logistics and transportation consulting, plumbing and electrical
contracts to office supplies.

Now, you are invited to take advantage of the second Mayor's Town
Forum: Working with Oak Ridge National Laboratory-Energy to Build
Your Business. This meeting will be Thursday, January 3, 2003 from
1:30- 3:15 p.m. at The Chattanoogan Hotel, 1201 Broad Street,
downtown Chattanooga.

The program will give an overview of ORNL technologies, tech transfer
opportunities and the type of contracts they award each year for gods
and services. This Forum is free, but reservations are required.
There will also be a networking reception for those who attend. For
reservations, call: 763-4056.

ORNL is one of Chattanooga's three technology partners and one of the
leading research laboratories in the world. This is a tremendous
opportunity that you and your business partners will not want to miss.
