I don't know if this might help, but I typically prefer to access
the ftp sites instead of the "internet chapter 2" web interface...

 ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com  or  ftp://europe-ffs.external.hp.com

There are also "catalog" files, but I haven't used them so far.
