My apologies Roy - honestly Windows seemed to "burp" - I know that isn't
very scentific - but here is the post that was to come immediately after:

I'm going to walk the dogs now then have Thanksgiving with some friends -
ya'll have a nice Thanksgiving too...

Man. pardon the last post with nothing in it (as opposed to my other posts
with bodies but still nothing in them ;-)

My friend at this medical distribution company that was taken over by an
AS/400 shop gave me an embarrassment of riches - I took what I could use
myself yesterday - including the LPQ1500 printer - Tracy Pierce was first in
the "967" lottery and will pick up the 967 Friday.

Here's what else they gave me - I can't use it - I took it simply to offer
to anyone on
the list who will pay for shipping (YOU arrange pickup) - if I didn't take
it they would have taken it to the recycler. They had to decide whether it
was worth the expense of shipping it to Ohio (from Sacramento) vs recycling.

1 rack of 3 HP9000 E45 CPUs and 2 HP6000 SCSI disk arrays.

CRAIG LALLEY up in Eugene OR has spoken for 1 9000 E45 and one disk array -
that leaves 2 9000 E45s and one HP6000 + the rack (standard 19")

I have another rack with 2 9000 E45s and one HP6000 - but with me and my
female business partner unloading the stuff from the liftgate - it rolled
off. It was be crushed or get out of the way. After that we used a rope to
secure it while the liftgate was being lowered.

The rack was damaged but the units inside appear fine - but who knows. They
may fire right and may start smoking. Just letting you all know. I'm sure
you can use the parts if nothing else.

I don't know how many disk drives are in the 6000s - how much memory the
CPUs have - they are as they gave them to me.

Still out at the facility

Out at their building are ~25 700/92s and 700/96s WITHOUT KEYBOARDS. The
people told me that all but 2 were tested and were fine. Some show burn in
on the screens.

2 empty 19" HP racks.

Countless boxes full of those plastic "fillers" you put in front of the
racks if there is no device there. They told me these are the new style
fillers that are rounded.

HP Netserver 5/66

DTCs - 3 2345s all in the 19" rack.

Raised flooring if anyone can get it.

HP 10 Base-T Ethernet LanPro Hub

You arrange shipping and I will send it out. I don't want to make money on
any of this stuff; they were nice to me I want to pass it on - Callie
said that she'd like to know that this stuff was being used and appreciated.
Callie was the DP manager out there.

Tracy Pierce was first with the email for the 967 -

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

You have to arrange for transportation in a reasonable time - our little
office is so crammed it's hard to walk around. If you want it and
transportation isn't arranged in a week I'll go down the list to the next
email.

If anyone wants any of this (that isn't spoken for) please reply to me at

And you all have a happy Thanksgiving.
