We currently have Oracle applications on HPUX which access and update Image
databases on the HPe3000. They currently use the Oracle Transparent Gateway
to do this. The Transparent Gateway uses the table information in the
Image/SQL DBE to make the Image dataset appear to be just another Oracle
table.

I am trying to figure out how to replace this functionality when/if we move
to an Eloquence database on HPUX.

Anyone have any experience with this?
Anyone know of any plans to get the Oracle Transparent Gateway to talk to
Eloquence?
I am guessing Oracle triggers could use the add-on Eloquence SQL interface.
Though it would require modifying the current Transparent Gateway calls.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Other thoughts?
