that is one of the main reasons for going to 7.5

The XP128/XP1024 does provide native fiber either through
direct-connect or with Brocade or McData switches and has been
tested and certified on MPE/iX 7.5

The XPs have one big fault in our environment and therefore cannot be used.
They do NOT support the AS/400.  I have bugged the disc guys at HPWorld
about it, they shake their heads in agreement, but nothing comes of it.  We
have Symmetrix running our MPE/ix, NT, Netware and AS/400 environments.
