It was just pointed out to me that my subject line could use some
refinement. I guess those are the inherent dangers of just replying to an
old message. Anyway, I am interested in hearing from people who are using
or at least know more than I do about the Web Console package for the MPE/iX
boxes. We wanted to purchase a few copies of that software so we could
manage our MPE/iX consoles along with our Unix consoles. I was told by HP
that the Web Console package isn't available for the 3000's but yet they
were just trying to get us to buy it several months ago "I hate it when that
happens". Does anybody know if I purchase the software anyway whether or
not it actually will function?

I do mean the Web Console. I comes bundled with the new Unix boxes but
need's/ed' to be purchased separately for the 3000's. Now I'm being told I
can no longer get it for the 3000's. I just want to be able to use the same
Web Console for our 3000's that we're going to use for our Unix boxes.

Er, do you mean the Apache Secure Web Server? The Web Console is a piece of
hardware I believe.
The Secure Apache version is bundled into FOS in 7.5 IIRC.
