We had a similar problem when we upgraded our network to IPFR.

Terry

----------

Had a problem where we couldn't get a connection using the DSLINE
command.
Called HP. Found out the router was updated with a new software version
which
may not be compatible with the HP e3000 network software.

This page describes the problem in general:
http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2873.html

My understanding is that HP will only use official standards and the fix
described in
the web page is not official. It will take months for HP to provide a
patch.
